Format: Virtual workshop featuring a mix of lecture, group and breakout discussion.
Learning Outcomes: Through this workshop, participants will:
Clarify the meaning of management
Understand how to navigate a transition to management
Recognize what is different (or not) for managers and individual contributors
Define role requirements, responsibilities, and outcomes
Embrace the employee/manager value exchange
Define a 90-day roadmap – for yourself or a new employee
Learn to enlist supporters above, to the side, and below
Identify personal strengths and growth priorities, then make a plan to address them
Develop strong maintenance habits: yourself, key relationships and team health
